One of the first watches I bought when I was getting into the hobby and after buying three Rolex and a Tudor I still love this watch. For me the best strap has to be the Kirkstead bracelet it really gives it a sporty edge. Got to get my hands on one of these to replace the original bracelet which is not great, but unfortunately you guys don't deliver to my country yet. Gutted! 😫
In the video, the kirkstead president bracelet has 3 micro adjustment positions, but the current version on the web site only has two micro adjustment positions, which is the same as the OEM bracelet, which is why most people need a replacement in the fist place.

Bloody hell changing a strap has got to be one of the most fiddliest and stressful things I've ever encountered. Bought the updated Kirkstead and it arrived today. Went onto Amazon and bought a watch repair kit - eager to change straps by myself! Could I? Could I F#%! The spring bars on the SARB033 awful and even with a spring bar tool they won't budge!
I feel like the case is so powerful with pretty fat lugs and the flawless black and polished look, that its hard to find something else that suits it apart from the original bracelet. The black sail cloth probably looks the best imo if you dont want the steel. I see leather straps as something a little more delicate, and so would probably want the lugs to start getting a bit narrower earlier on the case, to make the leather and lug look roughly as tough.
Can you please do a video comparing this watch with grand seiko sbgr053 and a seiko 5 of similar looks? I feel like that is a video that should have been done but no one did.

I wear my 3 sarb, the grand cocktail sdgm 003 and the sarg009- all 5 of favourite jdm on different straps and they look new everytime. And, there's still people who makes a video just to complain about the watch. Madness.

The 033 on the sail cloth was my favorite. I always had mine on black leather and wore my 035 on brown leather.

I've had it on leather, I've had it on canvas but it always ends up on the original bracelet. Nothing suits it better.

I wouldn’t use any of those non-metal straps. The rubber and sailcloth look wrong and the others have stitching that distract from the watch itself.

Only BLACK strap would fit.
